Golfmatch welcomes every skill level — Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Pro. The matching algorithm pairs people whose skill levels and scores are similar, so a beginner won't be overwhelmed by scratch golfers and vice versa. You don't need a handicap to sign up.
How does Golfmatch's matching work?
Recommendations are calculated from six signals: calendar overlap (which days you play), skill similarity (Beginner → Pro), score similarity (average and best score), geographic proximity, profile completeness, and recent activity. The more your profile reflects how you actually play, the better your matches.
