Golfmatch has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain how we prohibit, prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our service, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable child-safety laws.
1. Our commitment
We are committed to keeping Golfmatch free of any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children. Any violation results in immediate removal of the content, permanent banning of the responsible account, and reporting to the appropriate authorities. We treat the protection of children as a non-negotiable priority.
2. Adults-only service (18+)
Golfmatch is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. We do not permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the service. Age and identity are checked at sign-up through mandatory identity verification (KYC), which requires a government-issued ID and a selfie. Accounts that fail verification cannot access core features. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we delete it immediately.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Golfmatch and will result in immediate account termination and reporting:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, real or computer-generated.
- Sexualization of minors in any text, image, video, or profile content.
- Grooming, solicitation, enticement, or any attempt to sexually exploit a minor.
- Trafficking, advertising, or facilitating sexual contact involving minors.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAE material or to services that provide it.
4. How we prevent abuse
- Mandatory identity verification (KYC) for every member, confirming the user is a real, identifiable adult before they can match or message.
- 24/7 moderation of profiles, posts, photos, and reported content.
- In-app reporting and blocking tools available on every profile, post, and chat.
- Account bans and device-level signals to prevent banned users from re-registering.
5. Reporting and removal
Users can report any account, profile, message, or post directly inside the app using the report and block controls. Reports are reviewed promptly. Content that violates these standards is removed and the responsible account is permanently banned. You can also report concerns to us by email (see Section 8).
6. Reporting to authorities
When we identify apparent CSAM or CSAE, we preserve the relevant evidence and report it to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) and/or local law enforcement and hotlines as required by law. We cooperate with lawful requests from these authorities.
7. Legal compliance
We comply with applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions where Golfmatch is available, and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy. We review and update these standards as our service and the applicable requirements evolve.
